As Web Editor for The Saint, St Andrews' independent student newspaper, I redesigned the entire website in January 2017 using the WordPress theme Newspaper 8 by tagDiv. I made major changes to theme in order to make it more appropriate for a student newspaper, completely redesigning the home page by adding a slider to display posts, a Twitter feed, side advertisements, and an Instagram feed to display photos above the footer. Additionally, I ran The Saint's social media - including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook - which gave me extensive experience of how to effectively promote content to a specific audience and get them to engage with the provided content.
